Quran Parhne ke Adab — Reciting the Quran
A fatwa explains that reciting the Quran while walking is permissible as long as the heart stays attentive to the recitation, and is makruh if walking distracts it. Bahar-e-Shariat says the same about reciting while walking or working, adds that there is no harm in reciting while lying down with the legs drawn in and the face uncovered, and says reciting in a bathroom or places of impurity is impermissible. The Science of Tajweed describes recommended manners, such as reciting with wudu, facing the qiblah and wearing nice clothes.
