About

Answers you can check, from sources you can read

Right Deen is an AI assistant for religious and fiqh questions. It does not answer from its own knowledge: it searches a library of published Islamic sources, answers only from the passages it finds, and tells you exactly where each part of the answer came from.

Sunni, mostly Hanafi

The library is made of Sunni works, and most of them follow the Hanafi school. Some sources also discuss masail of other schools, so an answer can occasionally include them — the citation shows which book it came from. If you follow the Shafi'i, Maliki or Hanbali school, open the cited source and confirm with a scholar of your own school before acting on it.

Where the sources come from

Most of the library comes from Dawat-e-Islami's published books, the fatawa of Darul Ifta Ahle Sunnat and their recorded lectures and question-and-answer programmes. It grows as new sources are added. Right now it holds 1210 fatawa, 208 books and 2271 lectures.

How an answer is made

  1. Your question is matched against the whole library, in Urdu and English.
  2. The most relevant passages — book pages, fatawa, moments in a lecture — are selected.
  3. The answer is written only from those passages. If they do not answer the question, it says so instead of guessing.
  4. Every answer lists its sources: book and page, or video and timestamp, linked to the original.
  5. You can narrow the search to one book, programme or language from the "Search in" menu, or ask for lectures from a particular date — including Hijri months, like "Rabi ul Awwal 1448 ka madani muzakra".
  6. Any chat can be shared through a read-only link, which you can switch off at any time.

What it will not do

  • It does not give its own opinion or search the open web. The only outside data it uses is the live silver price, to work out the minimum mehar.
  • It does not issue fatawa. It shows you what published fatawa and books say.
  • It is not a substitute for a qualified mufti. For a decision about your own situation, take the cited sources to one.
  • It can make mistakes — which is why every answer cites its source, so you can read the original.

Independent

Right Deen is an independent project. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Dawat-e-Islami or Darul Ifta Ahle Sunnat. Their published works are used as sources and always credited and linked, so you can read them where they were published.
