الجّوابُ بِعوُنِ الُبلِكِ الُوِهِّابِ اللُهُمً هِدایةً الُحقِ والصِّوابِ It is sunnah to recite بِسم الله الرّحلن الرحِيم after thana ' and ta awwudh in the first unit of salah, and at the start of each subsequent unit t0 beginning recitation of the Quran This applies to the imam and the one praying alone Likewise, this is also sunnah for the latecomer ( masbuq) when he makes up the units he missed According to the preferred opinion upon which fatwa is given, it is recommended ( mustahabb ) to recite tasmiyyah before starting the surah after Surat al Fatihah; it is not wajib or sunnah اللهُ…
